A 1956 Omega Seamaster Calendar wristwatch. A gilt dial with Arabic numerals at 12, 3 and 9 positions. Applied tapered baton markers with gilt hands and central lume strips. A sweep seconds hand. A date aperture at the 6 o'clock position. The Omega logo to the dial with 'Automatic and Seamaster Calendar' in the lower position.
A lovely original 1956 purchase receipt from Rue du Mont-Blanc, Switzerland.
A gold capped case with thick shaped lugs. and a stainless steel case back. An original Omega winding crown.
The watch is powered by a caliber 353 automatic 'bumper' Omega mechanism. The serial numbers date this watch to 1956.
