A CWC military 'Field' wristwatch. A stainless steel tonneau case with a moulded chamfered bezel. These are often referred to as the "W10" as this was the form reference that servicemen had to fill out in order to get a watch, which was issued as a piece of equipment.
A black dial with Arabic numerals and a sweep seconds hand. The CWC mark and T circle denoting Tritium lume. White outer track for minutes/seconds with luminous rectangles and luminous dots above the intervening hours. A date aperture at the 3 o'clock position.
Case back markings 74.141ST 25097.
The watch is powered by an 25 jewel, ETA 2624-2 automatic mechanism. Most CWC watches have a quartz mechanism, this is a superior mechanical automatic example.
The serial numbers date the watch to 1997.
