 A rare, small double fusee mantel clock. A bronze patinated case with a stepped pediment and scrolled chamfered sides. Arched side glass apertures. A glass back door showing the mechanism. An 8-day duration, twin fusee mechanism striking the 1/2 hours and hours on a bell engraved 'Jefferson Bruton Street'. A pendulum transportation lock. An enamel dial with fine blued steel hands also signed 'Jefferson Bruton Street'. A locking front bezel and rear door.

Samuel Jefferson of Bruton Street, London worked 1809-1840. A clock is in Windsor Castle and he was clockmaker to the Prince of Wales.
