A French striking carriage clock by the noted maker, Brunelot. A fabulous all over engraved case. An enamel dial with Roman numerals and blued steel 'moon' hands.
An 8-day duration mechanism striking the hours and 1/2 hours on a gong. The original escapement visible through the oval top glass. A B stamp mark to the backplate in a circle which is the mark for Brunelot. Circa 1880.
