$  4146 | €3655

A 1950s Jaeger-LeCoultre 18k Rose Gold wristwatch. A silvered dial with a light matte finish, signed Swiss to the bottom. Alternating Arabic numerals to the even numbers, with arrowhead markers to the odds. The numerals show a rose gilt tone, matching the materials of the case body. The hours and minutes are indicated by variants of 'pencil hands'. A subsidiary seconds dial to 6 o'clock, recessed and marked with 5 second markers. The dial is signed 'Jaeger-LeCoultre' below 12 o'clock,

The case is of a larger design than most watches of this period, which alongside the case material makes this watch a rarity. A slim bezel design of the same proportions as the lugs - adding a stylish overall look. A snap on case back with a flat centre. Case back marked 509509 A. The case inner is marked with the Swiss marks including the key poincon (number 3) and the 4/10 mark, indicating the thickness of the case material.

The watch is powered by a manual wind 17 jewel P469/C by Jaeger-LeCoultre, an upgraded version of the standard 15 jewel P469. A serial number is marked to the mechanism, along with the manufacturers stamps.
