A 1974 Omega Constellation Chronometer wristwatch. A matte grey dial with raised steel hour markers. Each marker is faceted to the sides and backed by lume tips, with 12 o'clock being slightly larger than the rest. A date aperture to 3 o'clock with a steel frame surround. The hours and minutes are indicated by slim hands, with a contrasting black and lume fill. The dial has a double signature, with a raised Omega logo to 12 and a brand script to the bottom half. The 4 seperate printed lines are in order as 'Constellation, Automatic, Chronometer, Officialy Certified. Signed Swiss Made to 6 o'clock.The watch overall is in exceptional condition, retaining its original brushed steel finish to the case and strap. A slim bezel protrudes from the centre of the case and has a polished finish. Original crystal and winding crown. A screw down case back with the Constellation logo embossed to the centre, showing the Geneva Observatory logo. Original Omega strap, reference 2036. Case reference 168.0056.
The watch is powered by a 23 jewel Omega caliber 1012 automatic mechanism. Serial numbers date this watch to 1974.
