A French Portico mantel clock. A white marble case with applied swag and dentil cornice mounts. Tapered columns and standing on bun feet. A decorative base panel moulding. A gilt dial with blue numerals and blued steel 'moon' hands. A gilt ormolu pendulum and a decorative dial surround. An 8-day duration mechanism striking the 1/2 hours and hours on a bell. Circa 1860.
