A spectacular and high quality English Victorian skeleton clock. Larger case proportions of 'cathedral' design. An original glass dome to the stepped white marble base standing on feet. A superb, silvered fretted dial with Roman numerals. Blued steel hands. A wooden pendulum rod with a cylindrical pendulum. A silvered plaque to the top by the maker, EDWIN DAVIS BRADFORD'. A higher quality, 6 spoke wheel, 8-day duration fusee mechanism with passing strike on a bell. Circa 1870.
