G Kalabergo, Banbury Georgian Barometer

 A Georgian period mercury wheel barometer. A mahogany case of good proportions with an architectural top pediment and the original brass finial. Marquetry case inlays and banding to the case edging. A well engraved thermometer scale and main dial. Signed to the dial 'G Kalabergo Banbury'. Circa 1820.

G Kalabergo of Banbury is recorded in Banfields 'Barometer Makers and Retailers' book as working between 1815 and 1840
