A French brass cased striking carriage clock. An enamel dial with blued steel hands and black Roman numerals and 5 minute outer markers. An 8-day duration mechanism striking the hours and 1/2 hours on a gong. Movement backplate with Richard & Co stamped mark and numbered 705. A lever escapement. Circa 1895.
